While you know yourself better than we do, a possible theory could include unhelpful thinking habits. Things such as comparing yourself negatively to others, and using a mental filter that changes how you see others are both examples of this.

There can be many reasons why people feel sad. First, the situation/environment plays a huge role. If people are around the individual who make that person feel upset or people who don't pay attention to that said individual are 2 examples. Another is genetic. Some people lack certain neurotransmitters (ie. serotonin) and are predisposed to resort to sadness.

Put simply I don't know why you're always sad. But smiling and thinking about good things may make you happier. Talking with somebody on 7 cups of tea or anybody else that you trust may help put a smile on your face.

I think sadness come from bad thoughts. You would have bad thoughts especially when you overthinking by yourself. Try to surround yourself with positive thinking and talk through it with you family or friends, do not dwell in it by yourself. It would worsened your thoughts and make you sadder
