true love? this is a tough one in this day and age, especially with social media. but I do think it does exist. it may be hard to find, but it is out there. understand that when you find true love it does take work. if it's meant to be, both parties will work at it. this is what true love should be. putting in the time and effort type deal. (relationships are 50/50) both parties have to equally be involved and give the other the same care and compassion. be open and honest with each other right from the start. never hesitate to speak freely to your significant other and if you are able to do this, then this is true love.

Love has no definition, its all relative. When we are courageous enough to say to ourselves that we love someone, that is what's true love. We do not need to prove to anyone else or give justification for our love. We know what we have and that's a big power. Love does not always have to be two sided, one sided love has its own power although two make it stronger but that doesn't mean one sided love makes you weak. It empowers you if nothing. Love is not something that can be described in words, its a feeling that can't be written out.

I think love is what you make it. We define love ourselves; it can hold a range of meanings, feelings, emotions - it has endless connotations. Some people believe completely in love, whereas others don't think it's real and live their lives without a partner - both of these are totally normal and 100% fine, it's all down to a person with what they believe. Love can be really confusing as an emotion and it does hurt quite a lot, though these are very abstract things. You cannot physically see love, hate, honesty, truth: they are completely abstract and as a result cannot be actively proven or disproven.

True love is real but it's so rare. It's when you forget about your ego and stop taking things personal. It's when you love and support the other person purely unconditionally without waiting for anything in return. It's when you are not toxic towards the other person.
Meanwhile, fake love is more about manipulation and satisfying personal needs regardless of how the other person feels. It's toxic, draining and not worth it.
True love is magnificent, a pure bliss. On the other hand, fake love is evil and can break you.
Always search for true love and don't settle for anything less.
