Pent up energy, wanna do stuff. I feel upbeat mentally, but physically doing nothing, because I can't choose what to do. Music, a show, and writing is all I know I wanna do. Why?

Oftentimes, the desires of the heart convey hobbies or activities that you enjoy or have enjoyed in the past. By learning or writing music, attending or watching a show and writing in a journal, we can connect deeper within ourselves and to our core. However, sometimes being upbeat mentally and having a surge of energy can be managed through calming activities like yoga, meditation and perhaps a walk outside. You are the best judge for yourself so you may feel this energy can be put to use in your hobbies or enjoyable activities, or it can be regulated through breathing exercises. Regardless of what you choose, remember that energy can be transferred to different aspects of life like work, family time and passions. It is up to you to choose what you think is best at this time in your life.

Having many ideas can be really overwhelming. Personally, I find it helpful to make a checklist and focus on things one at a time. Or if there's a really big thing you need to accomplish, break it down into small and more achievable steps. Another thing to note is accountability. If you wait until you *feel* like doing something, whether that's going to the gym or writing a story, then you're almost never going to get around to doing it. Be your own coach and force yourself to get started. Music, playwriting, and writing are all really cool options!
