In my experience, personally, bottling things up that upset or hurt me breeds resentment and more sadness. Crying and letting it out cleanses me in a way, it lets all that pent up emotion flow out without feeling like I have to conform to someone's idea of being perfect emotionally/happy. after a good cry, I always feel better!

Yes, it's perfectly normal. It's even beneficial to cry. Simply crying and letting out all the built-up pressure can help a great deal to reduce stress. It's not weak, not is it cowardly to cry. Sometimes crying is also important in order that all the frustration leaves your mind. Take care. :)

It's very normal to cry and let it all out. Sometimes, it even helps you feel better. I remember when my grandfather passed away, I didn't cry. I didn't cry about it for a good two or three years, it just took that long for everything to build up so much that I couldn't take it. If you're upset, and you can feel yourself holding back tears, don't be scared to just them all out, you'll feel better once you have.

It is normal and necessary . That vulnerablity makes us human and is beautiful . Let it out , cry all you want , but once you are done crying , never cry for it again.

It is. And it's one of the best thing you can do to help yourself sort things out. If you always shut your emotions down, you will be faced with so much stress and you won't be able to focus on things that are truly important. Let it all out once in a while, or even any time you need to. You will feel much better and it'll be easier to move on.

It is absolutely normal!! I used to be really afraid of showing emotion and would never cry in front of people, even my parents. The older I've gotten, the more I realize that there's nothing to be ashamed of! Crying is a perfectly normal part of life and is healthy for expressing emotion. Don't be afriad to let people see you with your guard down!
