We cannot control others thoughts. Listen to your friend and reflect her thoughts to her. Share how you create positive framework to check or redirect your concerns. Ask when she feels comfortable in social settings? Is there a specific concern that she has about connecting with others? When did anxiety begin? When does your friend feel accepted and comfortable with her friends? Does your friend feel you behaving differently when you both are with others? How do you feel when your friend shares this concern with you about your friends? Can you understand your friends’s concern? Do you see anything you can do differently?
