Taking a step back to process your feelings can be helpful. Taking the time to write down and identify what's causing you to feel overwhelmed can help. Once you figure out the cause for feeling overwhelmed, you can engage in some self care activities to better focus on sorting through your feelings. It can be difficult to work on that when you're not in a good state of mind and feeling overwhelmed so doing things like self care or journaling before trying to tackle the issue can be helpful. It's not easy but not impossible. Hope this helps! Take care

I always try to manage my emotions one at a time, but only after I've got my head a little clear! Try and take a walk, get some fresh air, and then take on each feeling one at a time!

I suggest pausing for a moment and collecting every feeling you have. Then sort them out one by one. For instance, say you are feeling sad, take this emotion and find the reason behind it. List every reason why you feel sad and fix those reasons to the point where you no longer feel this emotion and then do the same for the others.

Start with a deep breath. Start by understanding where your feelings are comeing from (the root). Categorize them into good feelings and bad. Determine how you were able to feel good and take note on what caused you to feel bad. Its important to just know that no matter how overwhelmed you are. You are important! And despite how busy you are, your emotions and self care is worth pausing on overwhelming and busy circumstances. You are valuable! Your emotions are real and important! Take time for you! You deserve it!

Take the time to realize that your strong feelings are ok and try to accept them. It is ok to feel overwhelmed. It is normal and you should not feel shame for these feelings. Try to calm yourself with breathing techniques or meditation. This can reduce the physical aspect of anxiety. Doing this will create space in your mind for dealing with what is overwhelming you. Take the problem one step at a time. Try to be as calm and kind to yourself as you can. Realize not everything is within your control but that even making small changes to your situation can feel very empowering
