I manage my emotions when I am at work. I work in customer service and people can be really mean sometimes. There have been times where I have wanted to shout at them and punch them in their face, but I control my emotions and force myself to act professional.

As a Listener, I don't use 7 Cups to manage my emotions. In my personal life, I manage my emotions well by actively trying to catch myself should they feel heightened. I ask myself, "Why are you feeling so angry? Is this a logical response?" I find that it helps to "talk myself down," so-to-speak. I ask, "What would be the point of doing this, or reacting in this way?"

I always kind of hided, because I was too scared that people would judge me. This wasn't helping, so I started talking to a psychologist. This really helped me to deal with my depression.

I have wrote down my feelings. Writing it down got it out of my system and made everything better. I really enjoyed taking pen to paper because that was one thing that would never let me down.

I still take out a sheet of paper and divide it into two columns. What is causing me unhappiness? How can I fix this? Then proceed to fill out as many problems and solutions as possible.
