Two things I do is when I am crying is. When you're sad and crying because sadness, just think of that one amazing friend you have. That one person who's always there. You don't have to text or call him/her but just think of her. Then think about that one awesome activity you did you know which one I'm talking about. It was on that day that was just perfect. That one. 2. When you're crying out of anger(very guilty myself) Start doing push ups, sit ups, planking. And everytime you become mad at that person you do push ups. This way you're phyiscally "punishing" yourself, but it isn't harmful and it makes you a happier person. You could also go jogging or ropeskipping, but do something that makes you healthier.

That is a very general question. Where and when do you cry? Do you know what causes it? Why do you want to stop? Crying can be good for stress release. Perhaps you need to work through some issues that cause your getting emotional and find other coping strategies (that are safe of course) in the mean time. Or maybe give yourself some "crying times" - basically schedule a time when you can cry to your heart's content every day and promise yourself to do your best to hold it on other times. Have you looked into practicing mindfulness? That can be something to help you reduce your emotional stress as well.
