That is a very good question ! Laziness , especially we teens suffer from that to a great extent . Laziness can be defined as lack of activity both mental and physical . Stopping laziness first of all , and most importantly stands on the WILL and DESIRE of that person whether to stop it or not , so basically will power plays a very essential role here...Ways to stop it can be real simple daily activities , committing these activities can for sure drown it's affect gradually , finding new fun activities can also be a very important contributing agent in the process of stopping this global deal with-needed issue. As for mental laziness , a book , the best friend can really be of great help , at the end Thomas Edison totally astounded us with his quote ( Reading for the brain is like exercise for the body ) ..Also writing anything , a story , a poem , a quote...can stimulate our mental activity all along side playing brain games , solving puzzles and riddles :D .

You have to remember that being lazy is comfortable, but it won't help you in the long run. Just try to find a way to motivate yourself into doing something.

I think that creating some kind of planner to map out your day is a surprisingly underrated strategy. I guess it's just difficult to get into the habit of doing it, but once you do, it's amazing how much it does for you. You feel like you have purpose throughout your day and you always feel like you're doing the thing you're meant to be doing. Don't make the mistake of associating a planner with some kind of strict schedule, it's just a way of organizing everything so you can allot an appropriate amount of time into the tasks that you're supposed to be doing. You can still set out free time for yourself, but when you're doing stuff during that free time, you just don't feel lazy. You feel like you're progressing.

Try setting yourself a goal and reward yourself once you have achieved it. Start small, do little things, but do SOMETHING. There's nothing wrong with being lazy now and then, but being lazy all the time doesn't get you anywhere. And if you are asking this question... it's a sure sign you wish to get something done, so get to it!

Stopping being lazy is hard, I know from experience (I used to be lazy - sometimes still am) - what I did is I found that I needed to focus, so I slowly worked on focusing on tasks, like you need to do an assignment for example, it's due in two weeks, every day of the week slowly work on it, and it'll be done by the time it's due, then you do more and more each day, till you're not as lazy.

Find something (e.g a reward or some really compelling reasons) that motivates or inspires you to get down to brass tacks , stop procrastinating and just start doing whatever it is you're supposed to be doing. Make sure to be kind to yourself and not be too demanding at first .. for that can make the task itself seem daunting! And then that subconscious fear or dislike may manifest as "laziness"

The easiest way to overcome 'laziness' is to break things down. Some tasks feel too big to handle, and so we put them off and distract ourselves in other ways - and then because we haven't achieved what we hoped to, we call is laziness. If you turn tasks into small, actionable goals, they seem instantly easier to accomplish. Another thing you can try is envisioning success. What do you hope to achieve by spending your time effectively? How can you get there? Having something in mind provides great motivation to get started. Eventually it's possible to form productive habits. Instead of laziness, you'll be inclined to spend your time well, because that's what you've practiced and what you become used to. Don't forget to take breaks and look after yourself as well, though! Good luck on your journey!
