First, determine if you're actually lazy or if you're just having trouble due to something else, like an illness or a disability. Weed that out or get accommodations for it. Secondly, assess what parts of your life you're lazy in and make a plan to combat it. Thirdly, get social support from your friends or family. The pressure of others can be powerful in the formation of action.

Set yourself a list of goals for each day and a reward to give yourself once you've completed all your tasks. Try and get a good night's sleep - set your alarm, do some light stretches and have a quick shower. Put on a motivating playlist and dance along as you complete all your chores.

Set up some things to do. And if you're starting to get lazy again, think about the purpose you set that thing in the first place. You need to get it done, it's important. So get that ass up and do what you need to do!

This makes me think of Newton's first law of motion which states "An object at rest stays at rest and an object in motion stays in motion [...] unless acted upon by an unbalanced force." which means that once you have started doing something, you tend to keep doing that. To start is always the heavy step.

Motivation is the key. If you find something or someone that motivates you or empowers you to do something, there is a much greater chance that you will. Once this becomes a habit, is will eventually replace whatever motivates you to be lazy.

Well, there isn't exactly a "cure-all" for this, but most people tend to feel lazy because they aren't motivated to do anything; nothing is particularly appealing to them. A good approach to feeling less lazy is to find a hobby or topic that you're really interested in and start pursuing that - you're more likely to feel motivated when you're interested, and if you're motivated, you'll take action! We become lazy when we are unmotivated. Maybe you're short of a goal. Begin with a small goal and go for it. Continue making small goals until you feel comfortable in making a bigger goal for yourself. It's a wonderful feeling when we put our best effort into something we can care about
