You could try writing your feelings down on a daily basis. While we can't speak the words, it is often easier to write it down. This might be the most common problem that people simply don't want to say how they feel because once they say it, the words become a reality instead of just a horrible nightmare. If you're speaking with someone on here, you could try finding someone with enough patience to allow you to just sit there and think through your thoughts. Someone that will ask you questions to make you think. I hope this information helps.

There are lots of ways to express emotions other than through talking :) Some people find that art can be helpful- even if you are terrible (Like me!) It can be therapeutic to create something that shows how you feel. Sometimes I use magazines to create a collage- I cut out the images I relate to and stick them all on one piece of paper. Others find that music can express their emotion. Even if you cant play an instrument or sing, it can be good to find a song that expresses your feelings and to share it with someone else.

There are many ways that don't involve words to communicate or express feelings. You can do an activity that changes your mood, or helps you to expel negative feelings such as anger. Sometimes, when I am frustrated or I can't find words to express my feelings I listen to music, knit (I actually learned to knit to deal with feelings of anger, don't knock it, it works!) and practice breathing techniques. These are things that we wouldn't necessarily expect to have an impact on our mood or help us to express feelings but that can.

You need not force yourself to speak out these thoughts and feelings. Take your time, ponder over them and realize what they mean to you and how they affect you. You could note down these realizations or speak about them to a professional counselor or to someone close, someone you trust. Maybe they could help you figure things out better.

Express yourself in using art or songs with relatable lyrics or movement like dance or sports. Sometimes reading about other people's feelings make it more clearer to figure out yours. Also using similes and metaphors could help make a clearer picture for others.

I would suggest listening to music, first and foremost. Not everyone has the same affinity for music that I do, but personally, I find that some lyrics and even beats or melodies can express how I'm feeling in a way that words alone simply can't. And failing that, just start writing. It doesn't have to be full sentences or paragraphs; it doesn't have to be full thoughts. Just scribble words as they come to mind until it starts to flow better and you can begin to verbalize what's going on in your thoughts/mind.

I would recommend telling your close family/friends and tell them how stressed you are. If not, I would recommend professional help to find what exactly you are feeling.
