When I can't find words to express my feelings, I usually try to paint or draw how I feel. Or I throw on some music and dance as vigorously as humanly possible. This way you are not letting negative or tense energy reside inside of you.

Who says you need to have the right words to express yourself. Try drawing, even if you think you cant draw, just scribble away using different colours to represent different things. Or google pictures and make a collage of pictures that represent how you feel. Emotions can feel all over the place, and are far more complex than any language can give them credit for.

Sometimes drawing helps for me. I am not talented with it at all, but sometimes drawing manages to get those hidden thoughts and feelings out into the open.

There are other ways to express yourself. Not only through words. You can draw, sculpt an object, cry, or just hug something or someone.

You can write it down on a piece of paper or somewhere you feel convenient - like, on your phone, on your personal diary (if you have), or on sticky notes that you can keep on your desk where you would be able to write them down everyday. If you are out of the ordinary and wish to do something that's not usually what you do, you can keep them to yourself, accept that those feelings cannot be handled by paper or your phone, smile, and move on. Apart from that, you can watch videos on YouTube regarding the topic (I recommend Teal Swan), you can browse websites where there are quotes, messages and meaningful words, you can log on to Facebook and go to the pages of Spirit Science, Collective Evolution, Higher Perspective, The Mind Unleashed, etc. (they have their own websites too!)

Find something that allows you to release these emotions. I try to write when I get like that, which is hard when you can't find the words. But sometimes (later down the road) I can uncover the emotions I was experiencing when I read over what I wrote...

When you have feelings that you need to get out but you don't want to tell to other people you can still get them out. What I do is I write them down in a journal to get it off my mind so I can relax.

Trying to deal with emotions in general can be overwhelming enough - Now that you are trying to deal with something that feels foreign (i.e. you cannot express), things can get even more overwhelming to start.
First, take a deep breath. Understand that you need to just STOP and take a moment for yourself. From there, find a way for yourself to express emotions (in general) - whether if it's writing in a journal or chatting with a loved one. One way that I've found to have helped me in expressing emotions is to colour in an adult colouring book, using various colours to express what I am feeling at the moment (e.g. red - anger, green - peace) - Colour coding my emotions have helped me in identifying the emotions, even if it's not quite right at the start.
Using this, you can continue to slowly pinpoint these unknown emotions as you experience them - It will get easier as you go along, and eventually you will be able to find the right words to describe your emotions.
