Isolation is be separated from everyone, being alone and sometimes ignoring everyone and everything. Loneliness is feeling alone even when you're in a crowded room. They're both awful feelings.

Isolation is a physical separation from other individuals while loneliness is a mental separation or a feeling of mental disconnect from other individuals around them. One can be isolated, away from everyone and not feel lonely yet others can feel incredibly lonely yet have people close to them.

Isolation is when you're feeling down or upset, so you avoid people and stick to yourself. For example, locking yourself in your room or bathroom for hours at a time. Loneliness is more when you don't have the option of being around people, and there's nobody there for you.

Isolation is when you are alone and you're not necessarily sad about it, you might do it as a choice in order to recharge or reflect. Loneliness is when you wish for companionship but for some reason you can't get it. You might be around other people but still feel lonely.

Isolation is kind of a choice to be alone and not have anyone around......I think loneliness is kind of more where that's not necessarily how you want it or intended it to be.

Isolation is when you keep yourself from the world, and try not to let anyone in. Loneliness is when you feel like nobody is there for you, or if nobody is there for you. They are similar, but different. Isolation you bring upon yourself, and loneliness seems to find its way to you.

I would say that they mean the same thing but isolation is a stronger word, describing a more intense feeling of being alone.
