Has anyone used online group therapy to feel less lonely? I'm wondering if video group therapy would be helpful for this. Thanks for answering

Hi! My psychology teacher is also a psychotherapist, and she has done some group therapy before. Based on her story, I believe the answer is that it depends. Groups are often formed by people who have the same experience to foster empathy and understanding as they can give another look and give insight into each other's stories, including loneliness. However, group therapy is only often assigned depending on different criteria, and so the facilitators usually do think that it will be somehow therapeutic for you. I wish you luck and by answering this question I hope you will be less lonely .
