She is lesbian because it was just how she was wired. Its just how she was born. You can't change that. If she likes girls, she likes girls. Its not a big deal. Love her and accept her no matter what. She is your daughter. You only get one of her.

Because she feels that a male isn't who she needs by her side. She wants a female by her side, and that should be supported by any means and I sincerely hope it is.
It might be hard for her to be open about this, so please take her feelings to consideration in this. She isn't a lesbian to spite you, or anyone else.

She was born that way, she didnt chose to be a lesbian, and I'm sure based on societies judgement sometimes she wishes she wasnt, but please try to be supportive and understanding of her.

As a lesbian myself, I can tell you that it’s something you’re born as. There isn’t a reason she’s a lesbian any more than there’s a reason some people are straight. What’s important is not her sexual orientation, but that she’s a kind and caring person. As her parent, the most important thing you can do is support her and be proud of her - including of her sexuality. It is hard a lot of the time to come out, to share your story, and telling her you appreciate her trusting you is going to mean a lot to her. Being openly supportive is the most important thing and will only make your relationship with your daughter stronger. Remember, she’s the same person she was before she came out - she’s always been a lesbian. Now you just know more about her - and that’s wonderful!

Because she was born this way. Homosexuality has been scientifically proved to be a natural and innate orientation, it's born with us and it's not due to something that happens in our life. And homosexual people are not better or worse than others, they're just people, with qualities and flaws just like everyone else. And if you fear she'll have a difficult life, there are many homosexual who live perfectly normal, happy and fulfilling lives. What matters is that they feel accepted and loved for who they are. This is the best gift you can make to your daughter.

Your daughter may be a lesbian because it is what makes her comfortable and what she relates to. Sexuality can be difficult to deal with at times and is even fluid. Giving her space and time to reflect on her level of comfort can be important for her as well.

Because that is a choice that goes down well for her, and as long as she is capable of loving someone, it can't be that bad, right? Just, whatever you do, don't be judgemental - only we can decide how to create our happiness and that is the only right way.

Because she likes girls. There is no why or "how can change it". My friend always tells me that love is irrational. I think that is spot on in your case. If you love somebody you disregard gender and superficial things such as looks and appearance.

Because she was born that way. There's quite literally no other reason, unless you'd go into biological details of course. Nothing changes though, she's still your same daughter. In the future you'll only end up with an additional daughter (in-law) instead of a son (in-law) :)
