Homosexuality is a perfectly normal, natural and valid sexual orientation. There's nothing wrong with it! Some religions are strict on marriage rules because they see procreation as essential in marriage. But love is much more than procreation. Love is giving all of yourself to someone who does the same for you, supporting and trusting each other, being each other's joy and strength. All of this is something people can experience with anyone, regardless of their gender. Love is not bad just because there can be no procreation. Love is always good and meaningful, in all its forms. Whoever you love, you're not harming anyone, you're simply making life beautiful for you and your beloved one - how can this be bad? You love who you love, and that's beautiful!

My answer will depend on what your religion is. I come from a Christian background and can tell you that the Bible doesn't say any such thing, though many conservatives would argue that point. If you want to ask questions about your sexuality in an affirming Christian environment, I suggest looking up Q Christian Fellowship and getting involved in their forums. If you're not Christian, I can't tell you any specific website that could be supportive and help you work through this, but I'm sure they exist.

Well I believe in religion and god did said a man should marry women but before this he said you should marry the person you love. Sexual orientation was not understood in biblical times. In regard to marriage, it's important to remember that the Bible was written in a patriarchal culture that assumed men were in control and women were subject to them. Marriage was not an equal partnership, but a matter of a man owning a woman or women as property. Women provided men companionship, children and labor. Certainly, love between the man and woman or women could develop, but love was not the basis of marriage. Consequently, the biblical concept of marriage is not appropriate today.

your religion is none of my business but don't let this ''god'' obstruct your happiness. Love the things you love and enjoy it. Surround yourself with the things that make you happy, not the things that make you judge benign things and makes you doubt yourself. Being gay did not hurt you in any way, wanting NOT to be gay did. You're good the way you are, if you were born and raised in an isolated town where no one had heard of god being gay wouldn't be a problem and you wouldn't question the way you are. Would god judge you if you never learned being gay was ''wrong''? of course not because the same sex gave you feelings of love, and how can a human see love as something bad?

I understand how you feel. If you’re religious, just know that as long as you love god and treat everyone nicely, you are not committing a sin. Love who you want! As long as you’re kind, you will be loved by god, please do not feel bad about being part of the LGBTQA+ community. Do not let this bring you down! This is a very commonly said phrase, but, it doesn’t matter who you love, because you can't control it. Do not feel bad about this, because, first, there is nothing wrong with loving someone not the opposite gender, and, second, you really cant control who to love.
