The term 'Queer' is another word for gay or homosexual. This is when a male is attracted to males and a female is attracted to females. Homosexuals are a part of the LGBT+ community, where the 'L' stands for lesbians (female attracted to females) and the 'G' stands for gays (male attracted to males). Queer could also be used for the 'B' in LGBT+ which stands for bisexual which is an individual who is attracted to both the same and opposite sex.

As a pansexual transboy, I'd say being Queer is something we all as the LGBTQ+ community identify with differently. To me it means non conforming to the gender binary, or heteronormativity. Queer is often used as an umbrella term for everyone in the LGBTQ+ community.
