I’m attracted to a girl at my work, but I’ve always been attracted to men my whole life. What’s different this time?

Maybe you have always been attracted to women, but haven't been attracted to other women. Or, sometimes, we suddenly realize that we can see others in a different way, and we do because it seems normal when you know it is "allowed".

You wouldn't be the first one to always have been attracted to one gender all your life, and then experience one single exception. If this is the case, just one single exception, it doesn't necessarily mean that your orientation is different than what you thought it was. It could also be the case that you're bisexual, but much more oriented towards men, and that's why you're not used to be attracted to women. With time, if you feel the same towards other women, the answer can become more clear. For now, don't be scared of your feelings and follow your heart, do whatever you think would make you feel good, live happily! If you want, you can try to be with this girl and still identify yourself with any orientation you feel describes you better. After all, your orientation is nothing more than what you feel you are and what you believe describes you better. One single exception doesn't necessarily determine your orientation, you're the only one who can determine that.
