If everyone around you (family, friends, etc.) is hostile towards LGBTQ people, how should you come out? Should you come out at all?

Best thing to do is not come out unless absolutely necessary. Coming out around people that are hostile toward lgbtq+, who are definitely queerphobic, could lead to you getting hurt, and you do not want that. Best thing to do is find a safe place to talk about lgbtq+ things, like 7cups ;).
Another thing is, if you are around queerphobic people, try to distance yourself from them. If they cannot accept you for who you are, they aren't worth being around. You could take time on educating them and hopefully opening their eyes and losing that queerphobia, but sometimes even that could put you in danger.
