Getting support in this phase is really important. If you don't feel ready to come out yet, you can get in contact with the LGBT community and find support from them. You can also try hinting your identity to some of your closest and most trusted friends, to prepare the ground for your coming out.

Be safe! Be true to yourself! Introduce yourself to the world when you're ready, but know that it's okay not to be! Surround yourself with the love and support you need to move forward!

You could consider some small things you could do that make you feel comfortable with your gender! This might be binding (Safely! No bandages- and if it hurts, take a break and consider another option!! Layering a sports bra backwards over another one is a cheap and safe option) wearing the clothes that you like, mentally referring to yourself with your preferred name and pronouns or using it anonymously online or with people you feel comfortable with. You can gradually do these things as you feel comfortable doing them - there's no pressure! If you'd prefer not to change anything, that's fine too! Your gender is valid in whichever way you express it ^-^

Be safe! Since you are still in the closet I feel that it’s okay to presume there is a good reason you are not out yet socially, so be safe while you transition and with certain people knowing. If you are binding or doing any binder tricks (like the tank top folding) be careful with it and patient because it takes time to adjust. There are voice deepening techniques you could use that may help if you’re uncomfortable: Humming to the lowest pitch you can and talking at a level near that that is comfortable and going from there by practicing. I wish you the best! You’re doing great! :)
