It can be difficult to remain and it is often tempting to move to the scene in the cities but important to remember that it must start somewhere in these communities. People will surprise you and by showing them that a great person like you identifies as such their views may become more accepting of the gay population in general.

Remember that they don't change who you are. If they don't understand you, it is not because you are bad or wrong, it is because they are small-minded. Remember that there are people like you everywhere, and that your gender and sexuality, whatever they may be, whether you are gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender, or anything else, are real and valid. You matter more than what they think of you does.

Remember that what you're doing is right, and perfectly fine. Be proud for being capable of accepting who you are, because not everyone does. Your happiness shouldn't affect others. How could it? They are the ones who are wrong, not you. Because you are able to follow your heart, unlike them. Who decide to hate on others for you not being like them. You were born to stand out, and some people will not accept that. You just have to stick with the ones that do, without changing yourself. Love yourself just the way you are, because you are beautiful. :)

Know there's nothing wrong about you for being gay but it's this homophobic society we live in that is wrong. Have hope in the future, believe that you will have people who will support you for who you are and will help you feel safe. Maybe looking for lgbt organisations can help you find some friends inside your community. Don't feel bad if you're in a situation where you can come out: your safety is important. You'll find a way to freely be yourself some day; I promise.
