No parents would truly understand is it just a phase in your life or who you are, sometimes not even ourselves can fully differentiate between these two.
However, you don't need any justifications to be living your authentic self. Its your life, not your parents or anyone else. But to take note that you can live your life however you want on the basis of not harming anyone in the process of doing so.
