Everyone is unique, so we must be open to any answer to a question of this nature. If you are asking this because you are a bisexual who is interested in a person who identifies as a lesbian, the best choice may be to engage in an open and honest discussion with this person, to find out whether there is an opportunity to develop a more meaningful connection romantically. When you choose to identify a certain way, such as lesbian, bisexual or pansexual (not having any preference regardless of gender), you are letting others know more about you, so it is important to respect that individual’s choice. Every person has preferences about who they date, and asking that question may elicit very different responses to each person asked. A person who identifies as a lesbian, rather than bisexual or pansexual, could be chromosomally wired to be attracted only to females and has made a choice to engage in relationships with females for specific reasons. This person may have had negative experiences with males in the past. The choice to be exclusively with women may also be health-related, such as a decision to limit the risk of sexually transmitted infections (STIs), which is statistically lower among those who maintain exclusive female-to-female sexual contact. Conversely, those who engage in intimate contact with straight men or bisexual/pansexual partners increase the risk of getting an STI. STIs can lead to other serious health concerns, such as HPV or cancer. In summary, only getting to know a person will provide meaningful insight into that person’s romantic preferences.

Sometimes, yes that is true. But honestly, a good chunk if not most people just want to find someone who they like and who likes them. There are tons of lesbians who are just as willing to date a bisexual girl as to date another lesbian. I would agree with others who have responded that if a lesbian is unwilling to date you because you're bisexual, you shouldn't want to be with her anyway.

That's a very general question and to be honest, it just really depends on the person. I would say it wouldn't make a difference, to be honest; most people don't mind, and will date someone based on whether or not they like them and get on with them, rather than their sexuality.

Nothing like that! I don't understand this "bisexual" phobia! What's wrong in a person if that person is bisexual it's just another orientation. If you love a person you just love, no matter what is his/her orientation is.

Sadly, on average, yes. While many lesbians don't mind dating bisexual girls, there are the 'gold star' lesbians. They're typically pretty transphobic as well, saying that they don't want anyone who's had sex with a guy (or just male genitals in general) anywhere near them. They think they're superior because they haven't had sex with a guy, or who haven't had sex with a guy since coming out as non-straight. Again, while there are a lot of loving and accepting lesbians, there are definitely ones who are much less likely to date a bisexual girl.

In this case it depends on the bisexual girl. Some bisexual girls have a preference more for men, and some of them prefer women. For the lesbian, it depends on the person. If you’re not picky, then the chance of dating a bi girl is just as high as with a lesbian. Remember that lesbian means a girl loves a girl no matter if she’s bi, pan, les, it doesn’t really matter. So in other words the chances are 50/50. Have a very good day and remember that love is love!
