First of all, my heart goes out to you on this one. Try and focus on the positive things in your life if you can. If he is open to discussing what he's going through, be there to support him. Get help from a mental health professional to deal with the grieving process if you've found that to be helpful. And remember to take care of yourself!

Get some support! This is not easy and you shouldn't have to go through this on your own. This might be anything from family, friends, colleagues/bosses, palliative care nurses, social workers, counsellors, pastoral care, GP's, specialists... The more that you can rally up a team for you and your man, the easier that things will be.

First of all, I am so sorry you have to be experiencing this. As someone with personal experience, it's so hard to watch a loved one pass away, especially the man you love most in this world. The truth is, there is no right answer or correct way to grieve. This situation is heartbreaking and it is okay to react however you see necessary as long as you aren't harming yourself or others. As hard as it is, please please try and get sleep, drink water, and take care of yourself. Surround yourself with people who support you and will listen, such as the listeners here on 7 Cups. We are always here for you in this difficult time
