That is a very heavy decision. Hopefully this might be of help; that you made the best decision with the available information you had, at that time. Maybe, you might be second guessing because you wonder what that future may be, or you feel emotional pain inside, whatever it may be, you still made that decision not knowing the future and how you would feel after you made that decision. That was unknown information and you had no way of knowing. You did your best, and that's all one can do. Hold onto some faith that the future is still full of opportunities.

Coming to terms with abortion is a different journey for everyone, but if you're having a hard time, it can be helpful to remind yourself why you made that decision. Think of all the good reasons you had and remember that a well pondered decision is the best you can do, no one has the right to make you feel like you did something wrong. It's your life, the choice is yours, and this was the best solution in the conditions you were in. Your life will feel bright again once you've made peace with the fact that what you did was the best you could do at the time, and you can move on to have a fulfilling life. If you hear rhetoric claiming that people regret this decision forever, that's not true: it's normal to go through a tough time at first, but when the decision was well consider, people eventually see how it was for the best and move on to have a fulfilling life.
