You might be sensitive to loud noises, which is completely normal and okay! We all have what is known as a sensory profile. This is our baseline sensitivity to stimuli. This can be for any sense, like taste, touch, smell etc. For example, some people are very sensitive to noise, whereas others are not sensitive to noise, and need to be in a noisy environment to feel stimulated. It's a continuum and everybody has different profiles. In your case, it sounds the opposite- you need LESS noise to feel comfortable. The reason for this could be simply your own biology and how you are as a person. It might be an idea to prepare yourself if you are going somewhere noisy to bring head phones or ear defenders as this may relax you more. Also you might what to explain this other people as they may not be aware of your experience, and can take this in consideration when you are out and about.
