How do we forgive people that do not even know us personally but hate us or what we represent?

Forgiving is hard, but its the correct path to a happy and lovely life. If that person doesn't know you personally and just hates the idea of you, you have to realize that that hate isn't real, they are just more likely to be mad at their self and they are taking it out on you. In situations like the breath in and out and remember that it's no your fault

Carl Jung said: "Everything that irritates us about others can lead us to an understanding of ourselves.". What they feel towards us has nothing to do with us. In fact, it says much about them. They probably need love and understanding and feel insecure about themselves.

Just let them be, I think. You can't control what they do - but you can understand where that is coming from. Insecurity, low self esteem, or just simple misunderstanding can result in fear and hate. Always remember that hate is fear. Knowing that another person feels small, helpless and afraid of who you are or what you do, can help you feel maybe pity or love towards him
