Hi! This is such a great question. I can share with you from experience that you will thank yourself every day when you are older that you started saving money when you were young. The money you save now will be there to help you pay for unexpected expenses or emergencies when they happen and will help you to have more money when you are older and would like to retire from your job. Saving money for your future needs is always a good thing in my experience. You might want to consider reading books, websites and listening to podcasts that relate to saving and investing your money so that you can learn more and make smart investment choices. I know that Dave Ramsey is famous for his financial advice as are others. Here are the names of a couple of books that were very popular... Millionaire Next Door and Rich Dad Poor Dad. Those are just a couple of suggestions to help you on your journey. There are many more resources as related to finances. You may also want to consider taking a course on personal finance. Just by you asking this question shows a lot of wisdom. I wish you much success in the years ahead. Best of luck!

Yes, as you are young, it is important to start saving for the future. These savings could be useful for things now, such as saving up for something important, or in the future, like retirement funds and emergency money. This could be useful in many situations. Many people, from expertise, that I know, could say that this is useful. Having extra money in savings is a great thing to have on hand. The prices for things and taxes are high right now, so having some extra money can be helpful. Hope this was handy for you, good luck with saving!
