While I have never met your parents, my best guess is that they are humans, and humans make mistakes. sometimes we mistreat the people who are closest to us. Perhaps you can consider telling them that their words are hurtful to you.

Raising kids is a challenge unlike anything else in this world. Sometimes, it's a challenge that plays with their emotions and drains their energy; it's not your fault, and it might come off feeling like it is, it's just stress and sometimes we all buckle under stress.

I don't think parents mean to treat their chidden poorly, but sometimes anger or stress from work, social, or maybe even bill related can be projected to the people around them and who are parents most often surrounded by? Work colleagues and their children.

We need walk in their shoes even if just 5 minutes. Maybe it has nothing to do with you but rather they're going through their own issues at the time and maybe due to they're not reaching out for help they're not realizing the impact their actions are having on you.

They must be having a bad day and don't know how to manage their emotions. I usually feel very empathetic for them. No one is perfect. I know they love me no matter what.

A lot of the time it may seem like parents aren't treating us nicely, but in actuality, that's either the way they were raised as a child, or that's they way that they feel is right to treat a child.

Parents just want the best for their children. So it is normal you feel they are a bit hard on you. Know that they love you and they do this to make you the best person you can be in your adult life.

If they always treated you nice, how would you learn with a purpose. How would you build character, and the first person outside your parents raise their voice at you, you'd probably have hurt feelings.

Your Parents probably don’t treat you nicely because they want you to learn for yourself that people won’t be nice all the time but they still love you no matter how they treat you. There is nothing stronger than a parents love for a child. My parents don’t treat me nicely because they think that I don’t need to be treated like a child. They still love me and remind of that everyday. I’m sure your parents love you very much and don’t mean to treat you badly. I hope that you will talk this over with your parents so that you can know the reason for their treatment of you.
