Why do kids call their parents by their first name?

It's something new which is happening, we should ask the real reason of that form Sociologist, but i think its happening because parents don't teach their children how they should call them! so when child is growing up, will call her mother/father with the same names that hear form other(or themselves!), so i think if we don't want that our child call us with firstNames, we should teach them how they should call us!

cause kids cant understand the difference between a big guy or a kid so they jut call their first name

It could be because it's easier for them. Sometimes it's to insult them. Maybe it's for clarification in a situation with multiple parents of same gender.

I think kids that call their parents by their first name probably think of them more as friends or equals than parents.

Cause some kids don't have enough respect for their parents and they parents don't care what they kids call them so that's why the kids call their parents by their first name.

i actually dont know, i think it is because they want the parent to feel like a friend and not like a figure

When they are feeling fed up or confused or struggling with peer pressure calling patent by name is made to distance themselves from you

is can be a parenting choice or some kids do it out of disrespect to there parents as if to tell there parents that they don't see them as parental figures it really depends on the person

I believe that it's out of disrespect sometimes or they just don't realize it's disrespectful to call their parents by their first name.

Sometimes it's mainly because, they did not grow up with their parents, they tend to feel uncomfortable
