That's for you to decide. If you are secretly depressed, don't mask your emotions! You need to let people know you're not ok; that way you can get help.
Don't face this alone, I am an extreme people pleaser too, but I feel a lot less depressed when I help others; but some people are different (and that's ok!).
You can decide when you want to stop pleasing everyone else and focus on your own emotions. It doesn't make you selfish, if you're making others happy, you're selfless. It's not selfish to worry about yourself. Ok?

You get to stop when you decide to stop. The thing is you can never make everyone happy. You need to concentrate on making yourself happy first.

I need to spend time for myself. Know that I am the person who should be happy. I cannot believe the fallacy that if I try to please everyone, I would be happier. I will most likely not

when you learn that you are the most important person in your life and that you need to make yourself happy before you can learn to help others :)

"...get to stop..." Who wrote the rule that you "get to" make everyone happy? Is this a reward that you "get" to do this? Is it a punishment? There is no rule that you have to make everyone happy. All of society's rules are made up: you make your own rules about who you want to make happy, if anyone, and what they have to do to deserve that attention. You need to do what is best for your personal well-being, regardless of who is unhappy about it. It doesn't matter. You want to surround yourself with people who are happy you are living for you.

If everyone stopped making everyone else happy, could you rely on everyone to make themselves happy? You actually don't have to stop making everyone else happy and you can even make yourself happy by making others happy. If you're becoming stressed or unhappy because you are making others happy before yourself, always give time for yourself. This helps with stress and attitude which means you can stay healthy and happy by keeping your mind healthy. Sometimes we have obligations that require our attention and those obligations can become time consuming but make up for it. Take a vacation or several mini vacations for yourself to make up for the time you are obligated for others.

Sometimes you need to be selfish and take time for yourself. You can't look after other people without looking after yourself first, and none of the people you're talking about would want you to feel like this. It's OK to say no.
