What if I'm a lesbian mom?

Lesbian mom is no different from gay dads or straight parents - honestly it's only backwards narrow minded people who believe this is an issue. It's all about peace and love - if you can take care of your child, why would it matter?

Your kid(s) will love you however you are so you shouldn't try to be someone else for them or your husband you should tell them you'll be happier

Then your child will still love you and probably his/her other mother as well. It shouldn't change too much.

Then you are a lesbian mom. It's your choice, not anyone elses's, so you should do what you want to do. After all, it's your life, not theirs.

It's fine to be a lesbian mom if you want to. Just remember that the idea is that you be a good mom to your child and that your partner is also a good parent to your kids. At the end its all about the responsibility of how u bring up your kids and the environment u create for them.

Nothing wrong would happen. Being mom doesn't have nothing to do with your sexual orientation. Love is love.

Its okay to be a lesbian mom. Our society still holds taboos about sexuality, but it has become more and more acceptable to parent as a gay parent. Unfortunately, you will still find people that don't accept you just because of your sexuality. I personally would have no issue with my children playing with your children or us being friends just because of your sexual identity. I guess I would have to answer your question with one of my own: so what if you were a lesbian mom? It is what you are and part of who you are. This doesn't make you any less of a parent or a mom.

Go for it! Sexual orientation has nothing to do with whether you are a good mom or not! Stay away from people who tell you otherwise!

There is nothing wrong with that. As long as you are sure of who you want to be, and it makes you happy then you should stay true to yourself. People will respect that
