Parents often dream about our futures before we are even born, sometimes before we are even conceived. They may visualize our graduations, significant others, weddings, futures, and want us to be successful in the way that they imagine. Sometimes you just have to talk to them about *your* dreams and hopes for your future, while not dying “you this” or “you that,” but rather “I feel” or “I want” so as to not appear judgmental towards their opinions

You should really convince your parents that this isn’t you. Tell them that you are best at what you are doing instead of being someone who isn’t you. Most parents want you to be someone that they couldn’t become, so they get their children to achieve thief goals. I think you should show your parents that you can’t do your 100 percent when that isn’t you. I would tell them and beg them to please let me love and find my own path to success in my life with guidance from parents, instead of having a path that is already laid out for you to just walk through.
