I think sixteen years of age, is to young to leave home. At that age, you don't much about the adult world and the responsibilities.

First and foremost, you must be a legal adult as far as the law where you live. Emotionally, it depends on each person. Some take a while longer to develop skills to survive in the world, but others are ready to leave the nest early. I think in order to leave home, you should be self sufficient, able to pay for yourself and have a plan. If you need to depend on others, you may not be ready.

I think this depends on the person and their health. I know 14 year olds who have their own house and they seem to cope very well.

If you're being abused it doesn't mater, go love with someone else. Otherwise 16 is a good age. You can drive. You can work.

In my opinion, I believe anyone under the age of 17 would be too young to leave home, however, if the current home environment is physically, emotionally, and mentally harmful, I would urge the individual, at any age, to contact authorities to remove themselves from that toxic environment.

Probably the legal age in your country/state as you will have limited liberties or may not even be legally allowed to move out on your own. Otherwise it is more of a resources problem that is unrelated to age.

Any age where you are not emotionally and financially stable enough to. Also, do not depend on any external person to ensure that you are ready to leave home. Independence is key
