So, I came out to my brother. I thought he’d be accepting since the rest of my family was, but he isn’t- he’s homophobic and has now started insulting me whenever he can. Help please? What do I do?

Give him some time: Look at this from his perspective. It can be hard for people to fully grasp or understand why or how a anyone (especially someone they have known their whole life) could be gay or lesbian: It's kind of like losing someone (even though the person is still there). What he is doing isn't fair to you, but it might just be his way of expressing how he is feeling about the whole situation. I hope this helps you out a bit: if you want to chat one-on-one than feel free to shoot me a quick message. I'd love to help! :)
