I'm concerned as to why you'd be asking that. If there's abuse I recommend calling the domestic abuse hotline or your local department of family services. Very often we tend to try and escape or avoid conflict or abusive situations or we may even isolate ourselves and hide away as a means of coping with the stress and anxiety of the situation at hand, this is our flight or fight response and typically in this situation this is the flight end of the spectrum. It is perfectly normal to feel this way, however, self isolation and avoidance increases anxiety and can make us feel trapped. Addressing the situation by seeking professional help and contacting the right resources is neither flight or flight, it's accepting the situation and realizing it is out of our control by getting the right people involved.
