I don’t trust my parents not to hurt each other (physically and mentally ) whilst I’m not there. I don’t live with them but I don’t feel like I can leave without putting them in danger. What do I do?

I can understand your concern for your parents cause as a child we love them and wish them to lead a healthy happy life. Keeping that in mind , I do like to point out that your parents are not children . They are fully grown people capable of thinking and making choices of their own. You are not responsible for them neither are you their keeper. If you take a step back and look at yourself, all this while and for many years to come, you hover and worry about them , and one fine day you realise , you forgot to live your own life. You forgot to explore your full potential and you compromise on your choices . This might lead you on a path of frustration , bitterness and even anger. So what can you do ? Talk to your parents and relate your worries about their behaviour and accept that you cannot control their behaviour .
