Never is quite a strong word, there may be many times they don't pay attention to you, but there has to be some times that they did. Maybe what you want is more attention from them, let them know what exactly you want and what you would like them to do, to give you that attention. That could work, or it might not, so if they won't give you what you need, maybe look for another source that will provide that for you.

Hm... This one is tricky. They may have other obligations at the time. My own mother doesn't pay much mind to me unless she's done with what she's doing since she's taking a college class for psychology currently and, on top of that, is pretty sick. But your parents might have work or other siblings to focus on. I'm sure they don't mean to leave you yearning for attention. But you might also tell them when you have a chance, 'Hey, mom/dad/guardian, I'm feeling a bit left out of your daily activities/routine, could we find some time to be together sometime?'

If your parents seem too busy to pay attention to you, you must make sure to take a moment and tell them how you feel. If you feel like you can't talk to them, write them an email or a letter. Your parents love you more than you would ever know and they probably just don't realize that you feel this way.

It usually revolves around two factors: You and your parents (Occasionally the case may be due to others as well). In most cases it is misunderstood that the parents are not paying any attention to their child. Maybe they have a lot of things going on through their mind which leaves them with no time to think about you ( This is a failure on the part of a parent). In some cases, parents tend to ignore their child, when he/she does somehting wrong. This is a parenting strategy. There are a lot more factors. You can ask this same question to your parents if its possible. Most probable answer by any parent would be that its because of your bad behaviour. Don't feel bad if they say this. Understand, and be good to them. Just think how you would feel if your child acts the same way to you as you behave to your parents. * Its not good to assume that your parents are ignoring you. *

I felt like this was the case in my life for a long time, i would do something and i felt like my mother didn't even notice. When i would talk to her in the car she would moan as a response. But in all honesty your parents aren't ignoring you, they notice everything you do but they can't comment on everything and might be busy
