Relax, sit down and get comfortable. Breath in and out slowly, forget your troubles and shrug them off, listen to some relaxing sounds like wind blowing in the forest.

There are many different ways of meditation or mindfulness. You can look up advice online pretty much anywhere with how, how long, where at, and everything else you will need and/or want to know about the subject.

take 10 minutes, put away all distractions. Once you are settled and comfortable center yourself on one spot in the room and focus on your breathing, notice how your breaths enter from the tip of your nose and follow your breath to the bottom of your lungs

Take 5 minutes twice a day to do formal, sitting meditation in your home. This will help your mind to relax. And as for mindfulness, though it is hard to learn right away, do everything with care and you will see results. Your mood will begin to lift and you may learn more confidence. Good luck!
