There are a lot of free apps that can help you. If you're looking specifically for mindfulness training, download the free Take Ten app from Headspace. It's a 10-day session for 10 minutes per day. You can subscribe if you want but that costs money. The subscription gives you access to more mindfulness activity packs. If you're looking for help with meditation there are also a variety of mediation apps as well. I personally prefer guided meditations because I have ADHD so it's hard for me to just sit there silently and not "think" - but with the guided mediations, I practice proper breathing and am taken on a mental journey to the woods where it's raining, or to a deserted beach, or maybe just go to a spa and relax on a hammock. All of these types can be downloaded for free at mediatainment.com (you have to join the site, and then you get a free meditation per month). If you prefer more traditional meditation, with bells, silence, or chanting, then there are a variety of those free apps too. And, in case you aren't a member of this site yet, there are a variety of meditation and mindfulness activities located in your growth path which you can access here for free. Additionally, you can search youtube videos for free lessons.

The same way you learn anything else that's worthwhile, by practicing it daily and making sure you're consistent and disciplined with it. And meditation and mindfulness (in my opinion) are definitely worth practicing.
