There are many ways to learn mindfulness, because there are all different types of mindfulness! You could go out of your way to really empathize with someone you know, or help someone in need. Or, you could practice breathing/meditation/relaxation. Doing those would help you be mindful of the feelings and thoughts inside of you. Then there's hobbies, activities that make you feel calm and mindful on the inside, while still engaged in some sort of activity. For meditation, it's really just about getting to a state of 100% relaxation, then maybe you could let a "guided meditation" video play in the background.

Practice, practice, practice:). Meditation and mindfulness are often thought of as time taken from your day, sitting cross legged and humming for a period of time. This doesn’t have to be the case at all, meditation can be done anytime and anywhere. It’s a time for you to really be in the moment. Quiet your mind, peaceful breathing and intentional thought.. that’s it! Taking a moment or 5, just for you. Clearing your mind of stress, being aware of each breath in and out, staying present. Practicing this in the morning while you’re still lying in bed is a great time and way to start your day. Doing this practice will help you achieve mindfulness, which is again, being in the present. Not looking to the past and not looking too far forward. Today in this moment is what you have to work with, and it’s up to you to decide how you’d like to be there

I think learning meditation and mindfulness at home is a lot easier than you think! You can always try some apps that practice breathing with you and can help guide you! I'm sure there are also playlists you could listen to! Being mindful is ultimately just about being present in the moment and focusing on your breathing! Some people write down when their mind wanders, but don't beat yourself up over it! It all takes practice! You got this and I believe in you!
