It is an endorphin booster and a great thing to do for ones physical and mental self! Exercise helps maintain a healthy weight, promote better sleep, lower the risk of some diseases, and prevent osteoporosis.

Our health is all interconnected, and everything we do in one area of it affects all the others. For instance, good mental health makes us feel more apt to excerising and socializing. Similarly, light, regular exercise will over time help our mental health and encourage good social health too.

Exercise is good for your physical health, but also for your mental and emotional health! I was definitely skeptical about using exercise to help treat my depression and anxiety, but once I tried it, I realized that the endorphins are a natural pick-me-up and I felt so proud and accomplished after doing even a little bit of exercise. Getting active isn't going to magically cure you or make you happy all the time, but it's a goal to work on and something that you can be proud of. Anytime I'm feeling badly about myself, even if I feel like I didn't do as much exercise as I should, I can remind myself that I did more than on the days I just laid on the couch or in my bed. It really does help to have that tiny thing to boost your esteem.

Because endorphins. You release them stress, you just work things out and be happy. Give some work to your body to show it how much you love it.
