It's hard to tell without knowing the background details, has eating always felt unnatural - say from early childhood or is this a recent occurance, maybe a consequence of a restrictive eating disorder. I believe that it is likely though that a general rule will apply - the more times we do things the more the sense of fear and anxiety disapates and the more natural it becomes, take the first time you ever rode a bike for example or tried to swim, the principle here is similar.

I strongly believe so. Sometimes you can go up and down, but cherish those times when you enjoy your food. Believe in yourself and try and not worry too much. I know it can be hard, but fear not. Things will always get better.

Yes. I understand if it feels mechanical now. It might take years, but one day, you will be able to look at the food and realize that it no longer controls you. The guilt, the fear, the shame, it will be gone.

I believe so. With hard work, it can get better. You will be able to eat and feel good about it. Recovery is possible. A friend of mine is proof of that. I know it's not easy and it can be a long process, but you will come out on the other side.

After a little while yes. Start by eating little amounts and then add more until its a normal amount of food. It'll take a little while. But after a little while, it'll feel normal.
