When you feel the urge to binge, do not react, do not resist , do not respond to it . Just ignore it like a thought going in one ear and out the other . Accept the urge to binge , it's okay . Get distracted or Get absorbed in a task .

The best way to stop binge eating, personally, it's by always eating healthy food and doing a lot of exercice. Also, if you crave for something salty like chips, eat some peanuts instead. And if you want ice cream, why don't you try homemade frozen yogourt? If these tips doesn't work, try distracting yourself. Good luck! :) Kimly

The most important thing is not to guilt them into stopping. Find out what makes them eat, whether that's insecurity or an inability of dealing with their problems in a constructive way. Help them develop constructive ways instead of destructive. Most people who binge eat know that what they are doing is not helping them, they just don't know what else to do.

What I find helpful is to get a medium or small plate or bowl fill it with items that I want to eat put all other food away and out of sight then go as far away as you can in that moment and eat there then when finished immediately start doing something to distract you or go around others

One of the best ways to stop binge eating is to start by eating 6 small meals daily (every two hours). These small meals will be equilivent to 6 small healthy snacks containing necessary food groups in order to meet necessary nutritional requirements.
