There is no "normal", and many of us mistake normal for popular. Even though the dominant culture pressures people to be the same/look the same/think the same/etc., it is impossible because we are all different people with different goals, dreams, experiences, pasts, futures, etc.
We are all as alike as we are different, and it is our *differences* that make us unique individuals of value and worth.
As for what "normal" people eat - they eat FOOD! Beyond that, it's all a matter of personal preference and taste.
We should all include vegetables, fruit, grains and proteins in our meals, which you can learn more about on many free online resources.
Let's worry less about striving to be "normal" or being and doing what others are being and doing.
Instead, let's take note when ppl do things we admire, and then apply the spirit of doing GOOD to our own lives that give us a sense of accomplishment and satisfaction of heart, mind and soul.
In summary, eat what you want, and listen to your body, all in moderation and with balance as a goal.
For example, if you're craving meat or protein, eat some - so long as you're not allergic! Also, try to eat from all different food groups and strike a balance and moderation - not too much or too little of anything.
If food is a source of stress or anxiety for you (e.g. disordered eating like binging or purging or anorexia, etc.), then consider therapy or starting with chatting with a Listener like me on 7 Cups.
We can have complex relationships with food, and sometimes it has nothing to do with the actual food, but underlying emotions that came about from experiences that impacted us, and that we try to control or come out through our food behaviors.
If any of this resonates with you and you want to explore further, feel free to message me.
Be well and be YOU, because there's no one else like you in this world, and you matter!

Everybody's nutritional and calorific needs vary, so it is hard to determine who or what eating habits are "normal". As a general rule, a "normal" person would eat 3 meals a day. They would follow a balanced diet consisting of fruit, vegetables, protein, fibre, carbohydrates and healthy fats. What our diets should consist of and what they actually consist of are often completely different things. Some people, in particular those who are doing a lot of physically demanding activities, need more energy so need to eat more. A healthy way to do this is by having small snacks like nuts or dried fruit.
