Yes. You are a strong individual. Recovery is hard, but so worth it. There will be relapses, but don't let them bring you down. You are stronger than this disorder, but don't be afraid to seek out professional help. I'm rooting for you!

There certainly is, but I am guessing this question has arised because it is not as easy as originally thought. The one thing you need to address yourself is why do you go into a 'binge-purge mindset'? What thoughts go through your mind - write out the problem and find ways to change your thinking. Maybe doing different activities, writing thoughts down. With regards to food: try to assess when you are binging and purging. Are there certain times in the day (after work/ school..in the morning?). Replace the food you have with healthier food and work out a schedule each day of what you are going to eat... in the morning for breakfast: .... snack: ..... lunch: ...... snack: ...... dinner: ....... snack:..... and try to stick to this as much as possible. I wish you the best of luck.

The answer is yes, One day you will start filling up your plate, sit down and eat and all you will be thinking about is the taste of the food and you'll wonder why you ever hated it.

Yes, whenever you want to honestly, binge eating is something that you normally adapt to if that's what you tend to do.

Maybe. It all depends on how well you recover. At first it's going to be very hard and you may even relapse. But if you stick to it and keep trying to recover all will eventually get easier. It's like climbing mountain, honey. The first long bit is really tough and it may even get harder but eventually you'll get to the top of the whole thing and you'll feel amazing. Best of luck!

Yes. I truly believe that if you work hard at helping and taking care of yourself, you will be able to eat again without the mindset. It's not that you'll never think of it again, but there will be a day when you have gotten to the point that this is not your mindset all of the time.
