You are worth so much more than your weight. You are your intelligence, your kindness, your interests. Gaining weight means you can run and dance and have fun and use your energy for good. Try volunteering somewhere - it will make you realise that you do matter and you can have a positive impact in the world but only if you eat and have enough energy.

Well, make every small amount lost a big deal, because you are accomplishing your goal no matter how slow or fast. Everyone has those thoughts like I'm fat, and when you do try saying an international phrase about yourself. Look at the bright side while saying I can do this. Make your body a reflection of who you really are, a fabulous amazing person.

When you step on the scale, how do you feel? Avoiding the scale for a period of time, or only weighing yourself once a week or once a month (or whatever you are comfortable with) can help you stop focusing on the weight and start focusing on how healthy you are becoming.

When you're gaining weight to be healthy, try not to always weigh yourself or count calories! Your health should come first. It may be hard at first, but it's not impossible. If you do weigh yourself and find yourself unhappy with the number you see, try not to be discouraged. It just means you're getting better, and that's an amazing thing. :)

Unfortunately, many people are under the impression that weight is not a good thing. However, weight is extremely important to stay healthy. When you gain weight while you become healthy again, you can remind yourself of the following: 1) Weight is like a cushion to the body-the thinner someone is, the less protected their bones are in the case of a fall etc. 2) Weight is an insulator from the cold- very thin people are more likely to get sick from the cold

Instead of thinking of the weight you're gaining, think about how active you are now, the foods that you eat and how you can improve to get to a body shape you feel comfortable in. Thinking about your weight will make you think negatively about yourself. Setting goals and a creating a plan to work toward those goals will give you a more positive outlook on the situation and gives you something to strive for.
