What I would suggest to do is try to distract yourself the best you can. Try distractions such as reading, writing, drawing, painting, going on jogs/walks, watch a movie, hang out with friends .

Find something to distract yourself, such as going for a walk or reading a book. Drinking tea is also a great way to get the feeling that you're cleansing your system.

Try to not hate yourself after you've eaten. Concentrate on something else, or try excersize for a while. It is okay to eat, it is healthy, you don't need to punish yourself.

A close friend of mine has an eating disorder. She has found that working with a mental health professional who has experience of helping clients with an ED ("purging after eating") has helped her. I think that this option is worthwhile.

You need to talk to a physcologist and you need to realise that you have an eating disorder. Purging after eating is so unhealthy. It ruins your fingers, your body and your mind. Also, other people really do not like people who purge and boys especially don't like girls who purge or who don't eat normally so that should be an incentive to not purge after eating.

You need to make a commitment to yourself that you are going to stop purging. If you are struggling with over eating practice the 1-10 hunger scale (1 being not hungry therefore don't eat, 10 being really hungry so you should eat). Practice by supplementing meals with glasses of water also.

I can totally relate, I use to do the same:) Recognize your triggers and take baby steps; progress is progress. You know yourself best so start small and know we are always here to support you. Try reaching out to a loved one or trusted friend to help guide you on your adventure. Recognize why you feel you have to purge after eating. Is it because of your own self image or because somebody else told you what you need to do? Lastly your diet will help your mood so try and take baby steps to accomplish your goals.
