This is a great question! What might help is to think of all of the successful non-conformists out there. The people who are truly wonderful and help change society for the better inevitably live outside of the standard. Also know that the standard is not the only way to live, those are not the only set of rules to live by. Keep an open mind, love everyone for their weird quirks and never change yourself to fit in!

You need to do what's right for you, not what society says is right. Think about your own needs and your own happiness.

You are responsible for your own happiness and well being not others. Always remember if you rise or fall whether because of people or not you will be responsible for it.

By going against the "normal" expectations of society. There have been "normal expectations" set in place by this huge monster we call society. It tears us apart and makes us want to be like others. Once we get away form that, we are considered outcast to the world. We don't belong anywhere according to them. In my opinion, that is where you find yourself more important than the rest. You become an outside and you see that the people around you are just the gears in an awful machine and you just got out from in between them and now you are thriving.

By finding your self worth, which isn’t defined by looks. It’s defined by the self love you form within yourself and all the small personal daily achievements you make everyday. Try thinking of all the small things you do everyday which you usually wouldn’t even acknowledge like washing up or even making the bed in the morning. We all struggle to fit into society’s norms and it’s hard but know you are worth so much and loved by so many people and everyone who ever became someone did not fit into society but moulded it with their unique ways.
