Trauma is always difficult to deal with; it never really goes away and it can stick with you in your mind for a long time... However, trauma being so prominent in our minds could make us stronger and more powerful. Now, confronting trauma head-on doesn't work for everyone, as it can make you feel worse, or it can seriously hurt. However, it does work for some people. With time, it's possible that you'll find the right way of coping with it. How does facing it make you stronger? It could show potentially that you've had to go through something traumatic, yet you've come out the other side. It's not easy to deal with; taking your time and accepting it could be good stepping stones to becoming stronger.
